One reason why I was smitten with the practice of photography from the get-go is precisely because it so easily enables individuals to present to others their version of looking/seeing. As Lange so well states, it is easy to fall into the habit of seeing routinely, or seeing based on expectation. This project is a selfish one because it's all just photographs that I want. This project is a peak into my vision of the world, of what stands out to me.
